Toolkit on race and mental health at work
On World Mental Health Day, ENAR publishes a new toolkit on race and mental health at work, in the framework of our Equal@work platform.
Racism, discrimination and structural inequalities intersect with mental health and have an impact on the mental health of people of colour in the workplace.
The toolkit explores how we can understand the links between racism, inequality, and wellbeing. It provides a non-exhaustive summary of available evidence related to racism, mental health and wellbeing, exploring the individual, organisational and structural levels.
It also offers a a step-by-step guide for employers looking to create a workplace that promotes wellbeing for all:
1. Address discriminatory practices and structures
2. Create a culture of wellbeing and care
3. Support and empower employees
