Counter-terrorism report launch: Suspicion, discrimination and surveillance: the impact of counter-terrorism law and policy on racialised groups at risk racism in Europe

ENAR and the European Parliament’s Anti-Racism and Diversity Intergroup are organising an online exchange and dialogue with policy makers on 29 March 2021 based on ENAR latest report: Suspicion, discrimination and surveillance: the impact of counter-terrorism law and policy on racialised groups at risk racism in Europe.

29 March 2021

10:00 - 12:30 CET

The European Network Against Racism has undertaken a research project to assess and document the Impact of the counter-terrorism and counter-radicalization measures on groups at risk of discrimination and racism. This research project specifically examines the experiences of counter-terrorism and counter-radicalisation measures by members of groups that are at heightened risk of facing discrimination and racism in France, Germany, Hungary, Poland and Spain.

During this online exchange, we will present main areas of concern, detail some cases in specific countries and engage in high-level discussions with EU policy makers and Civil Society experts.
