A roadmap to racial diversity in EU institutions

What can the EU institutions do to improve racial diversity and representation? ENAR has published a roadmap outlining the steps needed to achieve this.

4 October 2019

Why does the EU need to change its policy on racial diversity?

The EU institutions are not representative of the entire diversity of the EU population, in particular when it comes to women of colour.

Lack of equal opportunities for racialised people hampers meritocracy.

Diversity is part of building a welcoming work environment! To attract diverse candidates, the EU institutions must not appear as a closed door to people of colour.
