European Union leaders say they are committed to limiting global heating to ‘net zero’ by 2050 and championing justice and democracy. Yet these can only be achieved if the EU moves beyond an economic model based on growth towards one based on social justice, fairness and ecological stability. In an open letter, ENAR joins over 400 experts calling for a post-growth Europe for society to thrive.
