New EU studies on equality data: national mapping and focus on ethnic minorities and LGBTI people
The European Commission is presenting a series of studies on equality data. This new research promotes equality and contributes to fight against discrimination in the EU by analysing why and what kind of data should be collected in relation to equality and discrimination.
This package maps national legal frameworks and provides for equality data indicators for each member state. The aim is to help Member States in developing their data collection practices while sharing good examples. Moreover, new research explores in more details how to collect equality data in the field of ethnicity and regarding LGBTI people.
