NEW ENAR REPORT: Diversity Trends in the European Parliament

The European Network Against Racism (ENAR) is set to unveil a first-of-its-kind report on the shifting landscape of diversity within the European Union’s only directly elected decision-making body: the European Parliament.

To paint a critical picture of diversity in its hallways, the report analyses the socio-demographic composition of the Parliament in relation to gender, belonging to a racialised minority, citizenship, sexual orientation, disability, and education over the past 10 years. The report assesses two core dimensions: the evolution of diversity over time and the perspectives of political groups and MEPs themselves on these trends.
