Juliana Wahlgren, ENAR Acting Director and Senior Advocacy Officer, and member of the European Commission Expert Group on Migration, Integration, and Asylum, was invited on radio show The Current with Matt Galloway.

During the show, Juliana discussed the visible double standards that have arisen in attitudes towards refugees fleeing the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, the issues of structural racism that continue to impact the effective application of policies in EU Member States, and the hope for concrete steps towards addressing these gaps. The interview segment also features first-hand testimony of the difficulties experienced by a Ghanaian medical student who escaped to Poland.
