ENAR’s speech at the EU People of African Descent Week

Karen Kaneza, Board member of ENAR, gave a closing speech at the public hearing organised in the European Parliament on 14 May 2018, the first day of the EU People of African Descent Week.


The hearing was entitled “People of African descent in Europe – rights and recognition”.

Karen Kaneza highlighted the need to recognise Afrophobia as a specific form of racism and for the EU to adopt a framework for the inclusion of people of African descent in Europe.
