ENAR Board governance update – statement
Brussels, 1 October 2025 – The European Network Against Racism (ENAR) informs its stakeholders that, following a decision of the ENAR Board, Ms. Nyanchama Okemwa has been suspended from her role as Chair.
In line with our Statues, First Vice-Chair Sandra Alloush will serve as Interim Chair until the General Assembly elects a new Chair. This ensures continuity of leadership and stability during the transition.
Our programmes, campaigns, and partnerships continue without disruption. ENAR remains fully committed to its mission of advancing racial equality, protecting rights, and building an inclusive Europe together with our members and allies.
We thank all our partners and supporters for their trust and solidarity as we move forward.
