ANTI-RACISM AND DIVERSITY WEEK 2025: Reimagine Racial Justice
On 18-19 March 2025, our flagship Anti-Racism and Diversity Week (ARDW) is returning to the heart of the European democracy – the European Parliament!
Organised with the support of ARDI (EP Anti-Racism and Diversity Intergroup) and the European Commission, the annual Anti-Racism and Diversity Week (ARDW) has become a pivotal event in Europe’s political calendar. Every March, the event convenes diverse groups – from civil society organisations to policymakers – to engage in meaningful dialogue on racial discrimination.
In 2025, ARDW takes place against the backdrop of an increasingly hostile environment for civil society and human rights defenders. This year’s event will stand as a powerful demonstration of resistance to the alarming rise of fascist, racist, and far-right ideologies across Europe.
REIMAGINING RACIAL JUSTICE
This year, our call to action is clear: reimagine, resist, and rebuild. Equality and justice cannot wait. As our rights, bodies, and lives come under attack, we must act now.
It has been five years since the EU’s first-ever Anti-Racism Action Plan was introduced. Today, as the EU builds a new Anti-Racism Strategy, this moment demands nothing less than a bold and transformative blueprint. We must confront the regressive political climate head-on and advocate for policies strong enough to protect the rights, safety, and dignity of racialised communities. Symbolic gestures are not enough, our future depends on decisive action.
REGISTER BY 16 FEBRUARY 2025!
Our vision is to amplify racialised voices and ensure they shape the future of Europe’s anti-racism agenda, fortify the European social justice movement in an era of escalating political hostility, and inspire bold action.
Together, we will shape a Europe where justice, safety, and dignity are realities for all. Join us and be part of the movement to reimagine racial justice.
ENAR’s member organisations and other civic society actors should register their representative(s) by 16 February 2025. As we will be selecting participants based on their demonstrated motivation, we encourage all applicants to take the time to carefully reflect on their expectations and motivation to attend.
