14 October 2014: Steering group on Islamophobia and women
ENAR is organising a steering group meeting on the impact of Islamophobia on women on Tuesday 14 October 2014 in Brussels.
This meeting aims to discuss our project “Forgotten women: the impact of Islamophobia on Muslim women” (2014-2015) in partnership with ENAR member organisations and women organisations.
The steering group will also be a key moment to strategise and join forces for a more coordinated action at EU and national level around the issue of Islamophobia. We believe that joint efforts between the anti-racist and feminist movements are needed to increase the protection of Muslim women by focusing on the gender dimension of discrimination.
