Managing religious diversity in the workplace: a good practice guide

This latest Equal@work toolkit looks at how employers can manage religious diversity in the workplace; identifiying challenges and providing practical solutions and good practices to respond to these challenges.

This toolkit is a much needed resource for all employers wishing to fully engage in creating an equal, dignified and diverse workplace by respecting religious diversity within their workforce.

It aims to support employers to identify the main challenges and barriers of accommodating religious minorities in European workplaces and how to practically respond to those challenges; it also includes a checklist that was compiled in consultation with employers, trade unions and NGOs to facilitate employers looking to improve their diversity management policies.

The publication is the result of the 7th edition of ENAR’s annual Equal@work seminar, which focused on religious diversity in the workplace and explored the challenges, barriers and difficulties associated with religious obligations and practices in secular spaces of employment.
