8 December 2015: Roundtable on combatting Afrophobia in the European Union

The European Network Against Racism is pleased to co-organise and invite you to a Roundtable on combatting Afrophobia in the European Union on the occasion of the UN Decade for People of African Descent 2015-2024.

This event will take place in the European Parliament, in Brussels, on 8 December 2015 at 14:00, room ASP5E2.

This Roundtable is organised by S&D group, GUE/NGL, the Greens, Anti-Racism and Diversity Intergroup and European Network Against Racism.

A range of experts will be speaking at this event, including MEPs Cecile Kashetu Kyenge and Malin Bjork, Barryl Biekman (European Region Coordinator of the Global Coalition for the Implementation of the UN Decade for People of African Descent), Tove Søvndahl Gant (European External Action Service), Jallow Momodou (European Network Against Racism vice-chair), Chiara Adamo (European Commission - DG Justice), Deirdre Lennan (European Commission - DG Education and Culture) and Fontes de Mello Corneli (Binabi ULB).
