6 May 2015: Racist Crime in Europe – ENAR Shadow Report launch event

The European Network Against Racism has the pleasure of inviting you to the launch of its latest Shadow Report: Racist Crime in Europe – ENAR Shadow Report.

The event will take place at the European Parliament in Brussels, room A7F387 on 6 May, from 6.30 pm to 8 pm.

During the event, there will be speeches and discussions from a range of experts, representatives, and officials including: MEP Peter Niedermüller (S&D, Hungary); Paul Nemitz, Director Fundamental rights and Union Citizenship, European Commission DG Justice; Sarah Isal, Chair of ENAR; MEP Birgit Sippel (S&D, Germany).

The launch event will share findings from the ENAR Shadow Report and create a space to discuss how we can combat racist crime in EU Member States and through the EU institutions. The report shines a light on the current situation of racist offences in Europe, reveals the experiences of victims of racist crimes and explores the role played by institutions and NGOs.

Registration is compulsory to access the European Parliament, PLEASE REGISTER HERE.
The event is currently oversubscribed. You can still register if you would like to attend; we will put you on a reserve list and inform you in case there are spaces available.
